Remember the project we did last year for David Hockney? Yeah, well, this guy, Zeb Andrews, did it, but took out the borders and made it look like all in one with a wide-lens type of view.
I just love the way churches look and this one caught my eye, cause the sky matches the roof of the church. By NatashaP.
By *atrium09, he took the inside of church, which is also pretty cool...
I don't know what I like about this picture, but I like it, hahah. Maybe cause it looks a little old fashioned and the glasses are just appealing and it makes the eyes more visible. I also like the blurred sides of the head just to focus on the face and the rosy cheeks and rosy red lips of his. Basically, they took a portrait of this kid with red cheeks, red lips, and weird lookin glasses and made the focus on him and ONLY him because of the blurred background. I like that. I wanna do a picture like this, hahah.
I like this one, cause of the glasses and the words written on it. The fact that its also black and white is also coool. By Kevin Davidson; found on his Flickr page: aznchiknplatr.
Of course, I did a lot more than I mapped, but it turned out good overall! IMO, It's a lot easier to just take the picture correctly in the first place than to edit it through Photoshop. But, that's just my opinion. (;
I did Barack Obama because I thought it'd be cool to do our current president.. and Mrs. Atkinson had a life-size cutout of him in her room, so why not? [:
I did it as well as I could; thanks for looking. :D
And then there's this montage of a tennis ball, just for fun. I got bored, open a can of new Wilson US Open balls and just started clicking awayy. Hope you like it, hahaa.
This was my word photo from last semester; photo taken by Ashley Curtis [:
Productivity - Productivity makes me feel accomplished and good about myself.
It makes me feel like I actually was productive while making this photo.. about productivity. This is one project that I actually liked (not that I didn't like the other ones..) and I had fun writing with the bamboo pad :D
You venture through the jungle and out of nowhere jumps a jaguar! Rawr. LOL, corny.
So I took a picture of the Jaguar in front of our school, and thought I had a really good one... turns out there are even better ones that people took, so I went to go take an even better one. The people who took the better photo of the jaguar inspired me to be better at taking them, to be more competitive.. something I wasn't before. The jaguar is the symbol of our school, our mascot. J-A-G-U-A-R-S. JAGUARS, JAGUARS WE ARE THE BEST! LOL.
This is the first jaguar picture... not that good, I know ):
This one is a lot better. (: It looks more like a painting, haha. Thuy's picture of hers looks really goooood. Check it out (:
I had fun at Summit Superstar, Kristen and Lucy won second! They shoulda won first, imo. But before that, my friends and I were walkin around the Kroger's area down Matlock and I saw this door with a fail sign placement.
There's this site called failblog.org where people post things they find that are 'fail.' I found this at the Burger King on Matlock and thought it'd be cool to point out their mistakes. (;
If you don't get it, you fail, haha. Just kidding. They would put a 'C'MON IN' sign next to a 'FIRE EXIT ONLY' sign. Fin.
YEHHH. Welcome to my blog! I guess I'll be posting pictures up here every now and then of pretty random things. Have fun, follow if you want, and stay tuned. :3
